Roots of Strength: Empowering Ukrainian Women in Bulgaria

We have wonderful news! Pomosh za Ukraina Association has received funding under the RIZA Project, with EU co-funding. Co-Funded by European Union. RIZA Project support and EU co-funding. In partnership with the European Network of Migrant Women (ENoMW), Melissa Network, Pangea Plus, and Monika-Naiset Liitto, we are implementing the project: “Roots of Strength: Empowering Ukrainian Women in Bulgaria.” The project aims to empower Ukrainian refugee women in Bulgaria by:

• strengthening emotional resilience;
• supporting social integration;
• developing leadership skills;
• improving access to essential information and services.

As part of this collaboration, the project coordinator from the “Ukrainskyi Vulyk” Integration & Education Centre took part in a two-day capacity-building training in Brussels, bringing together organisations from across Europe. Key topics included: sustainable project management, migrant women’s rights, democratic participation, ethical standards, and effective advocacy. We are grateful to our partners for their trust — important work lies ahead!
